PHOTOGRAPHY
When we left the UK to travel around the world I didn't want to take a camera. I felt that the cost of film would use precious travelling funds and it would be yet another valuable to have to look after.
But after a year's travel we'd seen so many amazing things that we decided to buy a decent camera in Malaysia.
Most of the travel pictures were taken with a manual focus Olympus OM4 and Metz flash using a Minolta IV lightmeter.
Studio photographs are taken on film using a Bronica medium format system.
My current 35mm system is NIkon digital.
Slides are scanned into Adobe 98 colour space using a Nikon Coolscan.
Colour management: Eizo monitor and Epson printers calibrated using a Gretag McBeth photospectrometer.
Digital storage: 3.5 terabytes with 7 terabyte RAID 1 mirrors.
